AS350 B3 Helicopter – Crew and Passenger Seating Replacement
THE PROJECT
Generation Global supplied replacement crew and passenger rear seating for an AS350 B3 helicopter. The crew seats were Sicma type seats, while the rear passenger seating followed the standard fold-down style. The interior was supplied under EASA Part 21J design certification and delivered with an EASA Form 1 Release Certificate. THE GALLERY
Both crew and rear seating were crafted in the Generation III design. The seat covers were manufactured using Saddle Brown (4111) aviation leather, which was complemented with matching piping and stitching.
As part of the kit, we also provided composite pocket panels that are mounted to the back of the Sicma crew seats. These pockets are wrapped in the same Saddle Brown leather and feature black mesh for added functionality and a sleek finish.
THE CLIENT
The client for this project is a helicopter operator and aircraft maintenance organization based in Kenya. They operate a variety of helicopters, including the EC120, AS350 B3, EC130, and AS365.
