High-Quality Seat Covers for ATR 72 Aircraft
Generation Global recently had the privilege of supplying pilot and co-pilot seat covers for an operator of the ATR 72 aircraft. The seats fitted to the ATR 72 are IPECO seats, known for their durability and comfort, though they typically come with an orange/brown striped fabric dress cover. For this project, Generation Global developed and certified a premium aftermarket alternative using the finest New Zealand Sheepskin to enhance both comfort and aesthetics.

The IPECO crew seats in the ATR 72 aircraft are typically outfitted with standard fabric covers. However, Generation Global upgraded these seats with luxurious New Zealand Sheepskin, known for its softness, durability, and comfort.
The new seat covers are designed with the traditional Oxford grey cockpit color for the sheepskin faces, complemented by Geneva wool blend fabric for the side borders. This combination not only elevates the look and feel of the seats but also provides improved comfort for the pilots and co-pilots during long flights.
The Client: A Growing Airline in the Pacific
Our client for this project is an airline formed after the independence of the Pacific Nation of Vanuatu. As the national carrier, the airline operates from the capital, Port Vila, and has been fully owned by the government since 2009. This airline serves numerous regional routes, including those connecting the islands of Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji. Additionally, it operates international flights linking the region with Australia, New Zealand, and China.
