Beechcraft C90 King Air – Full Interior Refurbishment
The Project
This project involved the refurbishment of a Beechcraft C90 King Air aircraft interior, restoring it to pristine condition. The scope of work included refurbishing the seating, with new crew sheepskin covers and cushions, passenger seat covers and cushions, a divan, and the belted lavatory seat. Additionally, floor coverings, lower sidewalls, tray tables, cabinetry, and hardware were also fully refurbished. This work was completed under Generation Global’s Part 145 maintenance approval.
Gallery – Materials & Design
-
Leather upholstery was sourced from New Zealand-grown and tanned aviation leather, used for the divan, lavatory seat, passenger seats, headrests, and armrests.
-
The seats were styled in the original Beechcraft design, using Generation Global’s proprietary Genlite foams for superior comfort and durability.
-
The crew seat front faces were covered in New Zealand sheepskin, dyed to match the leather borders, adding a luxurious touch.
-
Floor coverings consisted of a textured, ridged carpet that spanned the entire aircraft, from the cockpit to the rear luggage bay. The carpet was also extended up the lower section of the sidewall panels.
-
Sidewalls featured a fabric band in a contrasting colour, accented by a black dividing line running the length of the sidewall, enhancing the cabin's aesthetic.
-
Tray tables underwent a complete refurbishment, with all wood finishes resurfaced, metals polished, new leather inlays added, and new decals applied to restore their sleek appearance.
