BK 117 Helicopter – Aft Pax Seating Replacement
THE PROJECT
This project involved Generation Global supplying replacement seat covers for the aft Pax seating in a BK 117 helicopter. The new aviation leather seat covers were supplied with NZCAA design certification and were delivered with a Form 1 Release Certificate. The BK 117 interior parts are available on Generation Global’s online shop.
THE GALLERY
The pax seating was covered in Pearl (ADI-4071FR) aviation leather, providing a sleek, professional finish. The borders of the seat were adorned with decorative double stitching, and all seams were sewn in matching thread for a clean, uniform look. The center insert panels on the seat backrest and bottom were perforated using the SP1 perforation pattern, offering both breathability and a subtle elegance to the overall design.
THE CLIENT
The client for this project is a major general aviation MRO based in Auckland, New Zealand. This company is part of an international consortium and specializes in buying, refurbishing, and selling aircraft. Generation Global has had a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship with this company and continues to support their ongoing needs.
