Ongoing Seating Support for Bombardier CRJ-900 Aircraft
The Project
Generation Global is proud to provide ongoing seating support to an American regional airline operating a fleet of Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft. Our services include the replacement of seat dress covers and cushions for both J-class (business class) and Y-class (economy class) seating.
Outfitting these sizable aircraft is no easy task. The CRJ-900 features a standard layout (LOPA) with 70 main cabin passenger seats and nine business class seats, creating a substantial volume of seats to be serviced across the airline's fleet. We ensure that each seat is maintained to the highest standards, providing a consistent and comfortable flying experience for passengers.

The CRJ-900 features Zodiac Seats as the main seat type, with a 4/Flight seat configuration. The aircraft seating is generally split evenly with two seats on either side of the center aisle, providing a 2-2 seating configuration for the Y-class (economy) section. The seats are leather with laminated faces, and the colorways are customized to match the airline's brand colors.
The seats in the main cabin have:

The J-class (business class) seats are differentiated with red accents:

A red strip along the top of the seats

Red double-stitching along the headrests
In terms of configuration, the J-class seats are configured in an offset aisle arrangement. Each row consists of two seats on one side and a single seat on the other side, creating a comfortable and exclusive seating arrangement for business class passengers.
The J-class seat covers are made from charcoal leather and, like the Y-class seats, feature laminated faces. The dress cover set for each seat includes four parts:
