Cessna 182Q Skylane – Full Interior Refurbishment
The Project
For this project, Generation Global was tasked with the complete interior refurbishment of a Cessna 182Q Skylane. The client, having seen our work on a similar Cessna aircraft, reached out to us to replicate the design style while tailoring it to their specific needs. With our vast experience in Cessna interiors, we were able to successfully adapt and implement key design elements while ensuring a perfect fit for the 182Q Skylane.

Color Scheme and Upholstery

Primary Colors: The interior was predominantly finished in white leather, with a complementary dark lead grey leather used for contrast, ensuring a fresh, clean look that balanced professionalism and comfort.

Seats: The aircraft featured two individual front seats and a split-back rear bench seat. Each seat was outfitted with quilted inserts in white leather, stitched with a Honeygrid Large quilting pattern (SA007). The outer seams were finished with lead grey stitching, and each seat back featured an embroidered Cessna 182 logo, adding a sleek and customized detail.
Sidewalls and Trim

Sidewall Upholstery: The sidewalls were covered in vinyl that matched the white leather used on the seats, providing a seamless and unified look. Inserts on the sidewalls were crafted from lead grey microfiber leather, enhanced with white decorative stitching, reflecting the design consistency across the cabin.

Armrests and Pull Handles: These elements were also upholstered in the same white leather with lead grey stitching, matching the overall interior theme.
Carpets and Flooring

The carpeting on the lower sidewalls and door margins was finished with lead grey leather piping for a high-end, refined look. The carpet itself was Black City carpet, offering a rich contrast to the lighter interior elements and creating a striking focal point within the cabin.

Luggage Compartment: The rear luggage compartment was fitted with Black City carpet on the floor, while the walls were lined with charcoal grey boot lining carpet. This not only protects the luggage area but also ties the overall design theme together.
Result
The Cessna 182Q Skylane now features an upgraded, sleek interior with a white and lead grey leather color scheme, detailed quilting, and embroidered Cessna logos. The design is both functional and aesthetic, providing the perfect balance of comfort, style, and professionalism for the aircraft's interior. The coordinated upholstery, sidewalls, armrests, and carefully chosen carpeting all come together to create an elegant flying environment for the client.
