Interior Refurbishment for Cessna 172 Flight Training Aircraft
For this project, Generation Global supplied a range of new and refurbished interior components for a Cessna 172 used in a flight training environment. Our team delivered tailored seat upholstery, headlining, sidewall trims, floor coverings, and plastic linings. Once completed, the fully assembled interior was shipped to the client for installation by their own maintenance team.

Seating Upholstery & Branding Details
The seating configuration for this C172 included two front seats and a rear bench seat. We manufactured all seat dress covers in Lead Grey (ADI-1111) aviation leather, featuring perforated centre inserts for breathability. Each insert was cleanly divided by a vertical seam, providing a structured, modern look.
The outer seams were double stitched in silver, perfectly complementing the base colour. As a bespoke touch, each backrest was debossed with the client’s logo, offering subtle branding with a premium feel.
Sidewall Trims & Upholstered Armrests
To meet the aircraft’s specific layout, we crafted custom sidewall trim panels. These trims featured a horizontal perforated leather insert in the center, framed by light dove grey vinyl. The armrests were upholstered in matching Lead Grey leather, with silver decorative stitching that echoed the seats’ design.
Headlining and Flooring
For a clean and professional finish, the headlining was wrapped in light grey vinyl, brightening the cabin and complementing the rest of the interior.
We also supplied a full floor covering set made from Zimmer carpet, a high-durability material suitable for flight training aircraft. The bottom sections of the sidewalls were wrapped in the same black Zimmer carpet to create a cohesive visual flow, while the carpet edges were bound in black mesh binding for a durable, tailored finish.
