Complete Interior Refurbishment – Cessna 172M
This project involved a full interior transformation for a Cessna 172M, including refurbished seats, new floor coverings, upgraded sidewall linings, and a fresh headlining. The client opted for a timeless contrast of lead grey and light beige tones—resulting in a clean, cohesive, and professional interior finish.
Light Beige & Lead Grey – A Harmonious Contrast
The aircraft’s sidewall panels, headlining, and plastics were all finished in a light beige colour scheme. These new sidewall linings were custom-built and wrapped in a durable light beige vinyl, with lead grey piping running horizontally—subtly adding structure and definition to the cabin layout.
Additional trims like the armrests and pull handles were upholstered in black aviation-grade leather (ADI-1091), giving a sharp contrast and durable finish in high-touch areas.
The headlining was refurbished using a matching light beige fabric, while the plastic trims were custom-painted to match the rest of the sidewall detailing—maintaining a consistent visual theme throughout.
Flooring & Seating – Durable and Stylish
For the flooring, we installed Genflor Ash aviation carpet, which was also applied to the lower sidewall sections. This colour choice enhanced the contrast with the lighter upper wall and ceiling treatments, grounding the design and enhancing durability in high-wear zones.
The seat refurbishment involved a complete rebuild from the frame up. Each seat was fitted with new diaphragms, foam cushions, and custom leather dress covers. The 1962–86 generation Cessna seats were wrapped in lead grey (ADI-1111) leather, featuring SP-1 perforated inserts for breathability and comfort. All seams were finished with matching grey stitching, ensuring a clean and seamless look.
