Cessna 402 Overnight Kit for Aerial Photography Aircraft
For this project, Generation Global supplied a specialized overnight kit for a Cessna 402, used by our client for aerial photography and scanning work. The aircraft, a twin-engine piston model, has been customized with a camera hatch built directly into its floor for optimal imagery capabilities.
Customized Overnight Kit for Enhanced Aircraft Protection
The overnight kit provided by Generation Global includes intake bungs and a pitot tube cover to ensure protection when the aircraft is left on the ground or in short-term storage. The kit is specifically designed to protect the aircraft's engine inlets and pressure-sensitive instruments, which are crucial for its scanning and photography functions.
Key Features:
-
Intake Bungs: Each intake bung is fitted with PU foam cut to perfectly match the shape of the intake. The foam is encased in bright red vinyl to make the bungs easily visible. These are connected by red webbing and come with 'Remove Before Flight' tags for heightened visibility.
-
Pitot Tube Covers: The pitot tube covers feature bright red vinyl sleeves with stitched-on Velcro, ensuring they stay securely in place, protecting the pitot tubes during downtime.
