Cirrus SR22 – Seat Refurbishment
The Project
This project saw Generation Global supply and fit new seat covers for a Cirrus SR22 aircraft. Prompted by a recent SR22 project featured online, the client was impressed by the results and commissioned a full seat refurbishment. The seats were sent to Generation Global’s Nelson facility, where the new covers were professionally fitted—a convenient option for clients preferring not to complete the installation themselves.

Gallery – Interior Details
The new seat covers were crafted from Black aviation leather (ADI-1091), with perforated HP-1 inserts to enhance comfort through breathability.

Double stitching in silver thread was chosen to reflect the aircraft’s exterior detailing.

The front seats feature embroidered branding:

“CIRRUS” in white on the seat sides

“SR22” in silver on the sides and again on the headrest area of each seat.

A practical and stylish magnetic leather loop was included, allowing headsets to be stored securely when not in use.
The Client
This client is the official Cirrus agent for New Zealand and a respected figure in the national aviation community recipient of the Queen’s Service Medal for contributions to aviation.
