Bell 505 Interior Upgrade – Custom Finishes by Generation Global
Project Overview
This project involved a full interior upgrade for a brand-new Bell 505 helicopter. Known for its versatility and performance, the Bell 505 is typically delivered from the factory with a minimalistic interior. To elevate both functionality and aesthetics, Generation Global was engaged to supply and install a range of custom helicopter interior components, including:

Custom Carpet and Overmat Installation
The Bell 505 carpet kit was installed in two sections:

Forward cabin carpet, precision cut with openings for flight controls and seat rails

Rear cabin carpet, paired with a clear overmat to protect against wear and debris
The transparent PVC overmat maintains the visual appeal of the original carpet while offering easy removal and cleaning—ideal for busy flight operations and rugged environments.
Headlining and Rear Bulkhead Enhancements
To enhance the cabin's upper interior, we installed a custom-fitted headlining made from F21 plain black foam-backed fabric. This lining was split down the center to accommodate the rotor brake column, providing a seamless and tailored look.
The rear bulkhead panel was extended to connect with the headlining just above the passenger seats, offering a cleaner and more integrated cabin appearance.
Premium Door Trims and Armrests
Each door was upgraded with a leather aftermarket trim kit, adding a layer of refinement below the windows. The armrests were upholstered in matching black leather, delivering enhanced comfort and style. These small yet impactful details transformed the helicopter’s stock interior into a more luxurious and ergonomic space.
Custom Removable Stowage Box
For added utility, Generation Global designed and installed a custom stowage box, positioned between the two crew seats. Fully removable for flexibility, this box provides secure in-flight storage without compromising cabin space.
