Diamond DA-40 Interior Refurbishment for German Flying Club
Project Overview
This project involved supplying a new interior for a Diamond DA-40 aircraft owned by a German flying club for Airbus employees. The flying club purchased new seat covers from the Generation Global website. Due to slight design differences from previous installations, Generation Global collaborated with the club to develop a custom seat design, which has now been added to the DA-40 interior range.
Gallery: Detailed Features
Seats:
The DA-40 seat covers consisted of two sets of front seat covers and two sets of rear seat covers. The design features a two-tone leather design. The main color of the seat covers is ancient grey leather (ADI β 1151), with sand leather (ADI β 4041) used for the insert panels.
-
Center Inserts: The inserts feature horizontal double stitching lines, which add visual appeal and structure. Generation Global offers a range of quilting and perforation options for a truly customized look.
-
Outer Seams: The double stitching along the outer seams is done in a contrasting sand-colored thread, which complements the main and insert leathers.
-
Branding: The Diamond logo is embossed into the leather on the headrest, ensuring a cohesive and brand-aligned interior.
Client Feedback:
The flying club expressed their gratitude for the project, sharing that the new seat covers enhanced the status of their aircraft and increased its value. The club praised Generation Global's support and rapid turnaround, calling the experience a pleasure to work with the team.
