THE PROJECT
The PA-38 Tomahawk is a nimble, two-seater airplane that was produced by Piper in the late 70s and early 80s. For this project, we supplied full replacements for a PA-38’s seat covers, cushions, carpets, glareshield cover, and armrests. All parts were purchased via Generation Global’s website for a client in the United States. All parts come with the applicable certification for the client's needs.

We outfitted this Tomahawk with some new and exceptionally sharp-looking seats. Each seat featured black ADI-1091 leather with SA001 diamond quilting on its center insert. Quilting was sewn with black thread. For added contrast, the outer seam was done in a dark red leather (ADI-3021) piping. And using that same shade of red, we embroidered the Piper logo onto each seatback.
The carpet set we supplied to this client was made with Black City carpet (WN-120). Each set consisted of three parts: two footwell mats and a rear baggage area. Each part was edged with a durable, black mesh binding.
To match the seat style, the armrests and control grip covers we provided were also made from black leather (ADI-1091). The latter were hand-sewn onto the control yokes by the client. Finally, the glareshield cover we supplied was made from black vinyl - the long-lasting material meshed well with the interior’s theme and is highly UV resistant.
