The Project
The PA-28-151 Cherokee Warrior is a timeless single-engine aircraft produced by Piper for over 60 years. Known for its dependability and smooth handling, it remains a popular choice for training and recreational flying around the globe.
For this project, Generation Global completed a full seat refurbishmentβrestoring all four seat frames and installing new diaphragms, cushions, and covers. All works were carried out under our NZCAA Maintenance Certificate, with the same parts also available under Global Certification via our online store.
Gallery β Restoration Details
This aircraft featured a four-seat configuration, consisting of two individual front seats and a rear bench seat. Here's how we brought them back to life:
-
Frame Restoration:
-
Each seat frame was carefully stripped down and repainted in black, giving them a crisp, clean foundation.
-
-
Seat Upholstery:
-
We installed new cushions and finished them with Ancient Grey leather (ADI-1151).
-
For a unique touch, we used green contrast stitching. Itβs discreet from a distance, yet adds a subtle flair up close, offering a refined blend of elegance and personality.
