Piper PA42 Cheyenne – Complete Interior Refurbishment
The Project
After a successful interior overhaul of a client's helicopter, Generation Global was thrilled to be called upon for a Piper PA42 Cheyenne interior refurbishment. This rare Piper model was a fun and unique challenge for our team. Our client, impressed by our previous work, trusted us to perform a comprehensive re-outfitting of the aircraft’s interior, all while ensuring perfect coordination with engineering requirements.
Gallery – Design and Custom Features
Seats
-
Red Quilted Inserts: We restyled the seats with a streamlined design for a modern and sophisticated look. The newly reshaped inserts featured handsome red quilting (SA-10), adding texture and luxury to the seating.
-
Lead Grey Leather: The seat covers were crafted from lead grey leather (ADI-1111), providing a neutral yet refined base for the interior.
-
Silver Stitching: To highlight the seats' contours, we used silver stitching along the outer seams, complementing the red inserts and elevating the overall aesthetic.
Sidewalls and Fabrics
-
White-Flecked Sidewalls: The sidewalls were wrapped in a fabric that featured a white-flecked design, providing contrast to the dark leather seats while blending seamlessly with the overall color scheme.
-
Ultraleather Panels: The upper sidewalls, headlining, and baggage door were covered in white ultraleather (a synthetic vinyl). The texture of this material added depth to the interior, while also ensuring long-lasting durability.
Wood Grain Accents
-
Tray Tables and Bulkheads: The tray tables were outfitted with wood grain inserts and cup holders, creating a luxurious contrast with the leather seats. The bulkheads and storage drawers were also finished with matching wood grain accents, reinforcing the cohesive, high-end look throughout the cabin.
Carpet
-
Genflor Peat Carpet: A unique light grey carpet (WIN-120) was chosen for the cabin. This complemented the sidewalls and offered a subtle contrast to the darker leather seats. The edges were bound with black binding, and the design left the seating tracks partially visible, adding an industrial yet sleek touch.
Result
The Piper PA42 Cheyenne now boasts a completely refreshed interior, showcasing modern design elements and luxurious details. From the red-stitched leather seats to the wood grain accents and white ultraleather panels, every element was carefully considered to create a balanced and sophisticated look. The choice of materials, textures, and colors harmonize beautifully to give this aircraft a fresh, high-end appeal while preserving its functionality.
