For this project, Generation Global provided a utility interior for an AS350 helicopter. This interior included crew seating, rear bench seat squabs, and heavy-duty floor coverings. All components seen in the gallery are available for purchase through our website. The utility interior was designed to meet the demands of operational use while maintaining durability and comfort. Crew Seating:
The crew seats in this AS350 differ from those found on many other aircraft. They feature a composite seat shell bucket rather than a traditional frame. The seat cushion fits directly into the bucket seat. These seats were upholstered in Crew Generation III style, with cushions designed for side bolster and lumbar support, ensuring comfort during extended flights. The cushions are secured with velcro strips to hold them in place. The seat covers were crafted from lead grey leather (ADI-1111), a durable, high-wear material. The outer edges of the covers were piped for a neat and professional finish. -
Rear Seat Squabs:
The rear utility fold-down bases are fitted with two-place squabs. These squabs include both backrest and bottom cushions, which are securely attached using leather strips to link them together. Like the crew seats, the squabs are upholstered in lead grey leather (ADI-1111), with piped edges matching the crew seating. The bottom squabs also feature webbing straps on the outboard borders to secure the seat belts in place. The cushions are made from Genlite foam for durability and comfort. -
Floor Coverings:
The floor coverings were made from heavy-duty black Genflor (MW-200) vinyl flooring. This flooring is designed for high-durability use, providing excellent wear resistance. The flooring is finished with black mesh binding on the edges and secured to the aircraft’s floor with velcro on the underside. Precise cutouts were made in the flooring to ensure a perfect fit around the dual sliding doors and seat rails, providing a seamless and functional solution for the aircraft’s interior.
