REFLECTING ON AIX

Who would believe it's just gone a month since AIX finished!

AIX was an incredibly valuable opportunity for the Generation Global team. We were pleased to connect with so many industry professionals from across the global commercial aviation sector, building new relationships while strengthening many long standing ones. Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us, share insights, and explore opportunities together.

INTRODUCING GENCYCLE+

We were also delighted to officially launch GENCYCLE+ at AIX.

GENCYCLE+ is a closed loop upcycling program designed to ensure aircraft seat covers and cushions never go to landfill. At the end of their service life, old interiors are converted into recycled raw materials and remanufactured into new GENCYCLE+ products.

The program directly supports fleet refreshes and rebranding programs, helping airlines meet sustainability goals while maintaining quality, performance, and consistency across their cabins.

The launch of GENCYCLE+ has already caught the attention of industry media, with features from Aircraft Interiors International and Runway Girl Network. Click here to read Aircraft Interiors International’s coverage and here to read Runway Girl Network’s article.

PREMIUM CREW SEAT ON DISPLAY

One of the highlights on our stand was our premium crew seat, which drew strong interest across the show. While wellbeing and performance benefits can be explained, the true appeal is best understood in person.

Feeling New Zealand wool first hand is something we simply cannot replicate digitally.

Β

CREW SEAT SPECIFICATIONS

  • 100% New Zealand short wool sheepskin faces
  • GENEVA CS 50 fabric borders made from 85% New Zealand wool and 15% nylon
  • Fine Italian leather headrest trim
  • PU foam cushion

The natural materials deliver exceptional wear performance alongside outstanding comfort. Softness, breathability, temperature regulation, and natural odor resistance combine to create a seating surface unmatched by synthetic alternatives.
