GENCYCLE+ is a closed loop upcycling program designed to ensure aircraft seat covers and cushions never go to landfill. Old interiors are converted into recycled raw materials and remanufactured into new GENCYCLE+ products—supporting fleet refreshes and rebranding programs.

GENCYCLE+ is cost neutral. The cost of recycling and remanufacturing is balanced against the cost of producing new cushions, with no additional expense to the airline.

Generation Global works with recycling partners across most global regions. Removed covers and cushions are collected and repurposed into recycled raw materials through these approved partners.

Yes. GENCYCLE+ cushions can be certified as standard aircraft backrest & headrest cushions.

Yes. GENCYCLE+ products are designed for repeated recycling, enabling a fully circular lifecycle.

Generation Global will cover all costs incurred with shipping the removed covers and cushions.

1 recycled seat cover and cushion creates enough fibre for approximately 6 new GENCYCLE+ seat cushions. Any excess materials can be used in other products.
