We understand that the recent tariff announcement may have caused some uncertainty for our customers in the US. We want to reassure you that we have been proactively working on a plan to minimize the impact.

We wish to provide the following update as follows:
- As per the US President’s executive order, April 2, 2025, the following tariffs have been implemented in our regions of manufacture as follows:
- New Zealand 10%
- Malaysia 24%
- We are working on a plan to minimize the impact to our customers in the US.
- Due to many US firms that have been operating in Malaysia for decades, a well-established aerospace industry exists in Malaysia and the Malaysian Government has indicated it would pursue an agreement with the US to facilitate cooperation in the aerospace sector.
- GEN’s immediate focus is on working with our clients on delivering our existing orders and working through any logistical issues together.
- We look forward to putting in place a solution to ensure our customers continue to be cared for and all flow on impacts are minimised as much as possible.
