Generation Global Designs Premium Segregation Ropes for Aircraft Cabins
For this project, Generation Global was tasked with creating custom, hand-made segregation ropes for a prominent UAE airline. These ropes are designed to divide aircraft cabins into different seat classes. The cabin features a high wall between compartments, complemented by tinted translucent shields extending to the overhead PSU (Passenger Service Unit). During flight, the cabin crew can place the segregation ropes between the dividers to separate the various cabin areas, providing privacy and organization for passengers.

The segregation ropes are carefully hand-stitched and wrapped in high-quality leather. Each rope ends with magnets, allowing them to easily attach to the dividers within the aircraft cabin. To ensure both functionality and luxury, the magnet ends are covered in suede, and the entire rope is wrapped in leather. These ropes are also inscribed with the airline’s branding, making them an elegant and bespoke part of the cabin interior. Rope lengths are tailored to fit the varying dimensions of different cabin dividers.

The client is a state-owned airline based in the UAE, known for its expansive network and superior service. The airline operates flights to over 90 destinations across Africa, Asia, and Europe. With a fleet exclusively consisting of Boeing 737 aircraft, the airline is set to triple its fleet size in the coming years, further enhancing its ability to serve a growing passenger base with the highest standards of quality and service.
