Project Overview: AS350 Helicopter Luggage Liner

At Generation Global, we’re proud to support helicopter operators with interior solutions tailored to their needs—no matter the scale of the project. In this case, we provided a custom luggage liner for the rear compartment of an AS350 helicopter, delivering a durable and professional upgrade that’s now available as a ready-to-fit product on our online shop.

Why the Upgrade Was Needed

The AS350’s rear luggage compartment, which is only accessible from the exterior of the aircraft, is typically left unlined. However, for a Nelson-based tourism operator offering luxury tours and transfers, protecting passengers' luggage was a priority. To meet their request, we developed a straightforward, high-quality solution to enhance this often-overlooked storage area.

Design & Features of the AS350 Luggage Liner

  • Heavy-Duty Carpet Material
Crafted from industrial-grade carpet, the liner is designed to withstand regular wear and tear, providing a durable barrier between luggage and the aircraft floor and walls.

  • Five-Piece Custom Fit
The kit includes five parts that cover the floor and two side walls of the cargo area. This segmented design allows for a tailored fit and easier installation.

  • Tie-Down Cut-Outs
Cut-outs in the floor section allow seamless access to existing tie-down points, so cargo can remain secure without sacrificing convenience.

  • Velcro Attachment System
Each piece of the liner is backed with Velcro and comes with adhesive-backed Velcro strips, allowing for a fast, secure installation without the need for tools or modifications.

  • Aircraft-Specific Patterning
This liner was patterned directly within an AS350 helicopter, ensuring a precision fit and a clean, professional finish.
