Aircraft Interior Refurbishment for Beech 1900
The Project
Generation Global was commissioned to supply a range of cabin and cockpit furnishings for a Beech 1900 aircraft, a 19-seat passenger plane known for its versatility, also used for freight. Manufactured by Beech Aircraft Corporation from the 1980s through the 2000s, the Beech 1900 requires high-quality interiors that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
For this specific project, we provided custom crew and passenger seating, fitted cushions and covers, and carpeting. All parts were supplied with EASA certification, validated to TCCA specifications, ensuring compliance with the strict standards of the aviation industry.

The passenger seat covers were designed using our Generation PS-140 upholstery style, a modern alternative to the OEM design. The seat covers were crafted from Ancient Grey leather (ADI-1151), offering both durability and a sleek aesthetic. Matching stitching was used to blend seamlessly with the leather, providing a refined finish. The back covers attach with Velcro, while the bottom covers are carefully fitted over the seat bottom cushions.
The carpeting for the Beech 1900 was custom cut to fit the aircraft's unique layout. The carpet sections were made from a Slate-colored aviation carpet, with matching overlocking material used to finish the edges. The aircraft features a narrow carpeted aisle and small carpet segments between the seat tracks. Additionally, the carpet extends partially up the sidewall, adding to the cohesive look of the cabin.
The crew seats were also customized to match the aircraft’s interior. These seats were upholstered with grey Oxford Sheepskin on the faces and Ancient Grey leather (ADI-1151) on the side borders, mirroring the design of the passenger seats. The same leather was used for the armrests and seatback pockets, ensuring a consistent and luxurious look throughout the aircraft.

Our client for this project is a renowned FBO (Fixed Base Operator) based in Canada, providing maintenance services across much of North America. With expertise in over 124 aircraft models, they offer a wide variety of maintenance services to meet the needs of private aircraft owners and operators.
