Client:
This project involves a Canadian regional airline, based at St. John's International Airport in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The airline operates scheduled passenger services along with cargo, air ambulance, and charter services. It is the second largest regional airline operator in Eastern Canada and has additional bases in Halifax, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and Montreal. The airline’s fleet includes Dash 8, Twin Otter, and Beech 1900D aircraft.


Project Scope:

Generation Global was tasked with supplying replacement crew seat covers and cushions for the Beech 1900D aircraft. These parts are available for purchase in Generation Global’s online shop and come with EASA certification, ensuring they meet the necessary regulatory standards. The parts are accepted in various countries, including Europe, Canada, and the USA.


Design Features:

  • New Zealand Sheepskin Covers:
    The seat covers are made from genuine New Zealand sheepskin, a premium material known for its comfort and long-lasting durability. The high-grade sheepskin hides ensure that the seat faces offer exceptional work life and provide pilots with a pleasant seating experience.

  • Hard-Wearing Wool/Nylon Blend Fabric:
    The borders of the seat covers are constructed from a hard-wearing New Zealand wool/nylon blend fabric, adding strength and durability to the seat covers, while maintaining comfort.

  • Aviation Leather Headrest:
    Due to practical reasons, the headrest is made from high-quality aviation leather, ensuring that it withstands the wear and tear typical of the crew seats, while still offering comfort and support for long hours.

The airline is Canada's second-largest regional operator in Eastern Canada, providing a wide range of services, from scheduled passenger flights to cargo, air ambulance, and charter services.
