Bell 206B Helicopter Interior Refurbishment Project
The Project:
This project involved the refurbishment of an Australia-based Bell 206B helicopter, where the client ordered replacement crew and passenger seat covers, cushions, and control boots. All parts were purchased from Generation Global's online shop to ensure quality and compatibility with the helicopter’s original equipment.

Crew Seating:
The crew seats were of the Generation II design and were fitted with new leather dress covers that align with the OEM seat frames. These covers were crafted from charcoal grey leather (ADI-1121) as the primary material, and the center inserts were perforated for breathability. Each seat features decorative Honeygrid Large quilting (SA007), adding texture and a high-end look to the seats. -
Passenger Seating:
The rear seats also followed the Generation II design and used the same high-quality leather as the crew seats, ensuring consistency in both comfort and aesthetics. The rear seat cushions were designed for maximum comfort with new diaphragms to replace the aging OEM parts. The diaphragms are carefully glued in place over the seat frames to create a trampoline-like surface for additional comfort, and the seat cushions are placed on top, secured with glue. -
Control Boots:
The control boots were crafted from black leather (ADI-1091) and designed to be securely attached to their respective controls using velcro, ensuring a snug fit and functionality. -
Installation Process:
For ease of installation, we provided step-by-step instructional videos to guide the client through the fitting process. The seat covers were carefully tensioned and fitted over the cushions, ensuring a smooth and wrinkle-free finish.
This refurbishment provided the Bell 206B with an upgraded, professional look while maintaining comfort and durability, meeting the high standards expected by our Australian client.
