Bell 206 Longranger Helicopter Refurbishment Project
The Project:
This project involved the refurbishment of the seating and carpeting in a Bell 206 Longranger helicopter. The interior features a mix of crew seats, aft-facing passenger seats, and forward-facing passenger seats, with a custom-designed interior requested by the client. The helicopter’s seating arrangement includes 2 crew seats, 2 aft-facing passenger seats, and 4 forward-facing passenger seats, with a unique dickie seat between the two rear seats that folds down into an armrest. Generation I and II seating for Bell 206 helicopters, as well as custom interiors, are available directly on the Generation Global website.

Seat Covers and Cushions:
The seat covers and cushions were custom-designed according to the client's specifications. Each seat features an insert made from titanium grey leather (ADI-1231), which contrasts beautifully with the darker lead grey leather (ADI-1111) used for the rest of the seat covers. The seat back inserts are divided by horizontal seams, while all outer stitching is done with titanium grey double stitching, ensuring a clean and sophisticated look. The dickie seat is similarly covered in the same lead grey leather to match the other seats, providing a cohesive design throughout the interior. -
Embroidered Bell Logo:
The Bell logo was embroidered onto the upper seat backrests of all seats using titanium grey thread, matching the stitching and adding a refined touch to the seating. -
Headrest Covers:
The headrests, including those between the crew seats and aft-facing passenger seats, were upholstered in lead grey leather (ADI-1111) and stitched with titanium grey double stitching, ensuring the headrests blend seamlessly with the rest of the interior. -
Floor Coverings:
Our team also supplied precision-cut carpet pieces for the floor and lower sidewalls beneath the seats. The charcoal carpet was bound with black edging, creating a sleek look. The carpet segments were designed for easy installation and attach to the floor and sidewalls using velcro, which was supplied with the carpet.
