Bell 206 Longranger Interior Kit Project
The Project:
This project involved providing an interior kit for a Bell 206 Longranger helicopter. The kit included new carpets, seating, and other interior enhancements. The parts were purchased on behalf of the client by their maintenance organisation, who then oversaw the installation of the new components.

Seating:
The aircraft featured Generation I seats, which reuse the OEM seat bottom frame. The back of the seat backrests was equipped with a shaped composite shell, while the seat bottoms included a canvas diaphragm that attaches to the OEM seat frame, providing support for the cushion and seat covers.
The seat covers were made from handsome truffle brown leather (ADI-4141), creating a rich and sophisticated look. The outer seams were neatly finished with black piping, adding a subtle contrast. Additionally, the seats were fitted with removable leather headrests, which were securely fastened to the backrests via dome attachments. The headrests were further personalized with a debossed client logo, making this project unique to the client's requirements.

Floor Covering Kit:
A new interior floor covering kit was supplied, made from black city carpet. The carpet edges were bound with matching mesh binding for durability and a clean finish. The carpet pieces were designed for easy attachment to the aircraft's floor and lower sidewalls using velcro attachments, ensuring quick and secure installation.
This project highlights the balance between functional design and aesthetic appeal, with a focus on quality materials and personalized touches. The truffle brown leather seating and black city carpet bring a sophisticated yet durable finish to the Bell 206 Longranger's interior, making it both comfortable and stylish for the client.
