THE PROJECT
This project included Generation Global manufacturing and fitting new leather dress covers and cushions to the crew seats for a BO-105 helicopter. The seat dress covers were manufactured in Lead Grey (ADI-1111) aviation leather with silver (412) decorative stitching on outer seams. The seat backrests feature an adjustable lumber in the centre insert with decorative quilting. The quilting is also stitched in silver thread in the X Diamond Large (SA003) patten.
In this project the client shipped the crew seats to Generation Global’s NZ facility for fitting. Having the opportunity to fit the covers and cushion to the seat frame ensures an optimum fit.
THE CLIENT
The client is an American company who specialise in services to government agencies. Their work is often international and of a confidential nature. The client operates a wide variety of helicopters from light right up to heavy lift helicopters.
