BO-105 Crew Seat Upholstery Project
Project Overview
Generation Global was tasked with manufacturing and fitting new leather dress covers and cushions for the crew seats of a BO-105 helicopter. Interior Features and Design
The seat dress covers were made from Lead Grey (ADI-1111) aviation leather, with silver (412) decorative stitching along the outer seams for an elegant finish. The seat backrests featured adjustable lumbar support in the center insert, providing added comfort for the crew. The decorative quilting in the seat backrests was done in the X Diamond Large (SA003) pattern, with the silver thread providing a striking contrast.
To ensure the best possible fit, the client shipped the crew seats to Generation Global’s New Zealand facility for the fitting process. This allowed for a precise and tailored fit of the covers and cushions to the seat frame.
