Cessna 172 – Custom Interior Kit
The Project
This project involved supplying a complete interior kit for a Cessna 172 aircraft, purchased through Generation Global’s online shop. The order qualified for free global shipping and was fully customised using Generation Global’s interactive seat configurator, which allows clients to select from a wide range of leather colours, stitching, piping, and quilting options. The kit included seat covers, cushions, sidewall trims, and a dash glare shield covering.

The seats were upholstered in Charcoal Grey (ADI-1121) aviation leather, with centre inserts showcasing Diamond (SA001) quilting on perforated leather.

The quilting thread and outer seam stitching were finished in a contrasting White (ADI-1021), adding refined detail to the overall look.

The Cessna logo is embroidered in full colour across all seat backs, including the rear bench seat.
Sidewall Trims:

The sidewall panel design is segmented into three distinct sections, creating depth and visual symmetry.

Lower section: 'Blackcity' cut pile carpet with leather-edged door surrounds.

Centre section: Perforated leather in Charcoal Grey, matching the seats.

Upper section: Titanium Grey (ADI-1231) leather to brighten the cabin space.

The glare shield cover was shaped precisely to fit the curved dash and crafted from premium aviation leather.

It features decorative double stitching in White, highlighting the curvature and finishing off the dash with a professional touch.
