Cessna 172 Interior Upgrade – Rye-Beige Leather & Sand Perforated Leather
For this project, Generation Global supplied a range of premium parts for a Cessna 172 aircraft, purchased through our online store. The parts provided included seating, sidewalls, carpets, and control wheel and glareshield covers, all shipped to the United States for installation.
Stylish Rye-Beige Leather with Sand Perforated Leather Inserts
The client selected Rye-Beige leather (ADI-4221) as the primary material for the seats and sidewalls, creating a sophisticated and warm interior atmosphere. The perforated leather inserts used on both the seating and sidewalls were crafted from Sand leather (ADI-4041), adding texture and visual interest to the design.
Classic Cessna Seat Design with Quilting
The seating selected was the early-style Cessna seating, featuring non-articulating crew seats and a split-back rear bench seat. The center inserts on the seats were quilted, using the SA001 Diamond quilting pattern in white thread (1021) to add a classic touch to the seats. The double stitching on the outer seams was done in sand-colored thread to match the leather inserts.
As a finishing touch, the Cessna logo was embroidered onto the seat backs, ensuring the seats carry the iconic brand’s signature styling.
Elegant Sidewalls and Durable Flooring
The sidewall panels were crafted using Rye-Beige leather, with perforated Sand leather inserts and Shoreline Genflor carpet (WN-120) applied to the bottom of each panel. This combination of materials provided a clean, cohesive look throughout the cabin.
The floor coverings were made using Shoreline carpet in three sections, providing a uniform look. Additionally, two heel mats made of ABS plastic were included, designed to protect high-traffic areas while maintaining the aesthetic.
Control Wheel Pad and Glareshield Eyebrow Cover
Finally, we supplied a control wheel pad and grip covers, along with a glareshield eyebrow cover, all made with black vinyl and finished with a metallic Cessna badge, adding a stylish, professional touch to the aircraft’s interior.

This project delivered a refined, cohesive interior upgrade for the Cessna 172, combining high-quality materials and classic styling. The thoughtful selection of Rye-Beige leather, Sand perforated leather, and Shoreline carpet creates a modern yet timeless feel.
The control Wheel Pad and Grip Covers and Glareshield Eyebrow Cover for the aircraft were also supplied. The covers were made using black vinyl with a metallic Cessna badge.
