Interior Revamp for Cessna 172P Skyhawk – A Two-Tone Transformation
In this project, a U.S.-based client chose Generation Global for a comprehensive interior overhaul of their Cessna 172P Skyhawk. The client selected premium parts from the Generation Global website, which included new seat upholstery, fabric headlining, floor coverings, and sidewall linings, giving the aircraft a fresh, modern look.
Elegant Two-Tone Color Scheme
The interior was designed with a two-tone brown and beige color scheme, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The seating consists of two forward-facing articulating seats and a rear bench seat. Notably, the rear bench features split backrests, allowing each seat to be reclined independently for enhanced comfort.
Customized Floor Coverings
The aircraft’s floor coverings were tailored with cut pile carpet in a kirsh color, providing a sophisticated finish. The carpet was bordered with matching brown mesh binding and backed with underlay for added durability. Additionally, the same carpet was used on the bottom of the sidewalls, ensuring a seamless and cohesive design throughout the cabin.
Modern Fabric Headlining
To complement the updated interior, the headlining was revamped with ivory-colored stretch knit fabric. The client applied this fabric to the plastic shell headlining, transforming the look of the ceiling with a modern and sleek finish.
Luxurious Sidewalls and Seat Upholstery
The sidewalls of the aircraft were completely replaced with new panels. The bottom of each panel was finished with kirsh carpet, while the upper section was upholstered with beige Savannah leather. The sidewalls also featured chocolate leather armrests and pull handles, providing an extra touch of luxury.
For the seats, the dress covers were crafted from Savannah leather as the primary material, with chocolate leather used for the center inserts. The covers were embossed with the Cessna logo on the upper backrest, while the outer seams were meticulously double-stitched with chocolate-colored thread, adding a sophisticated contrast to the overall design.
A Fresh, Modern Look for the Cessna 172P Skyhawk
This complete interior refurbishment gave the Cessna 172P Skyhawk a fresh and modern look, blending comfort with high-quality materials. With Generation Global’s premium interior parts and the client’s vision, the aircraft’s interior was transformed into a more stylish and functional space.
