The seating was upgraded to the 1996+ model, featuring two bucket seats and a rear bench, all covered in luxurious chocolate leather. The seat design is bold, with strong curves and striking lines, and finished with decorative double stitching on the outer seams in silver thread for a refined touch.
The side trim plastics were carefully repaired and repainted before being rewrapped in a broad-patterned vinyl. Chocolate leather decorative inserts were added to the sidewall panels to match the seats, with armrests wrapped in complementary matching vinyl. The draft extruder around the door was also treated to blend seamlessly with the overall aesthetic.
The floor coverings were crafted in a speckled Gravel carpet, blending light and dark browns. The carpet edges were finished with a brown mesh binding, close to maroon in color, and the addition of hard-wearing heel mats in front of the controls ensures durability and protection.
This renovation brought a fresh, stylish, and cohesive look to the Cessna 172R Skyhawk, elevating both the functionality and aesthetic of the aircraft.
