Aircraft Interior Refurbishment Project: Cessna 182TR
Project Overview
This project focused on the complete interior refurbishment of a Cessna 182TR. The Generation Global team delivered brand-new seating, side walls, and floor coverings to elevate the interior design of the aircraft. The aircraft’s owner, a private recreational pilot, also plays an active role in their local Aero Club. Our team’s attention to detail ensured the aircraft’s interior was both functional and stylish, reflecting the owner’s high standards.

The Cessna 182TR features a classic seating configuration with two crew seats in the front and a bench seat with a split backrest in the rear. For this refurbishment, the Generation Global team provided new backrest and bottom cushions made from Genlite foam for superior comfort and durability. The upholstery was crafted from high-quality saddle brown (ADI 4111) leather with elegant perforated (SP1) leather inserts for a sleek and modern look.
For the aircraft’s floor coverings, we supplied Black City carpet with matching black binding. The carpet was custom designed for the Cessna 182TR, including precise cutouts for seat tracks and rear bench seat attachment points. A full carpet mat extends from the back of the aircraft doors to the rear, while another mat covers the rear wall and the luggage compartment.
The same Black City carpet was used for the lower sidewalls, while the upper sidewalls were upholstered in saddle brown leather to match the seats. The central inserts of the sidewalls featured perforated leather inserts, mirroring the design of the seat upholstery. Finally, new fitted black leather armrests were installed, attached directly to the sidewalls for a seamless, elegant finish.
