THE PROJECT: Cessna 185 Skywagon Interior Upgrade for U.S. Fleet Operator

For this project, we partnered with a North Carolina-based fleet operator in the United States to provide custom interior components for their Cessna 185 Skywagon. The Cessna 185 Skywagon in this project featured the 1975–1986 seat design. We provided front seat and headrest covers, custom-made in Saddle Brown aviation leather (ADI-4111). For breathability and added texture, the center inserts were made from perforated Saddle Brown leather, maintaining a consistent look while improving comfort during long flights.

Pull Handles & Armrests: Wrapped in the same Saddle Brown leather, each piece was precision-stitched using matching thread for a seamless appearance. Designed to slide perfectly over existing hardware, these parts brought cohesion and refinement to the cabin space.

Control Yoke Covers & Grips: The control column pad and grips were wrapped in black leather (ADI-1091), offering a sharp contrast against the brown interior. Each grip featured an embossed alloy Cessna 185 badge for a polished, custom finish. The client completed the final install with glue and hand-stitching, using our tailored kits.
