The Project: Regional Airline Seat Cover Refurbishment for Bombardier Q400
For this sizable and detailed project, the Generation Global team partnered with a regional airline in Canada to deliver high-quality replacement seat covers for their economy-class (Y-class) seating. The project involved outfitting Bombardier Q400 aircraft, each configured with 74 passenger seats in a 2-2 layout.
Our team provided complete replacement seat covers for the Spectrum series Y-class seats, ensuring a perfect fit, long-lasting durability, and a premium passenger experience.

History: The Legacy of the Bombardier Q400 in Canada
The Bombardier Q400, part of the renowned Dash 8 series, holds a special place in Canadian aviation history. Originally developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s by the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, the Q400 evolved to become one of the most successful regional aircraft of its kind.
This legacy traces back even further to British aviator Geoffrey De Havilland, who created the iconic Moth biplane. His British company later established the De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, which contributed significantly to the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan during World War II.
Over the years, the company saw several ownership transitionsβfrom Boeing, to Bombardier Inc., and more recently to Longview Aviation Capital, which now owns the De Havilland Canada name and continues the legacy of regional aircraft production.
