In this project, Generation Global supplied main cabin passenger (Pax) and flight attendant (FA) seat dress covers and cushions for the Bombardier DHC-8-100 series aircraft. These seat covers were crafted under an NZCAA STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) and delivered to the airline with full certification, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

The seat configuration for the Bombardier DHC-8-100 includes 36 passenger seats arranged in PTC aerospace dual seats and a single flight attendant seat. The seat covers are made from high-grade Scottish aviation leather in a sleek charcoal color (DF490). The covers feature decorative double stitching on both the faces and borders, ensuring a polished and cohesive look that complements the leather.
The seat cushions meet the TSO C72 floatation device standards, offering enhanced safety for passengers in the event of an emergency.

Our client operates key routes within Papua New Guinea, including flights between Port Moresby and remote communities across the rugged, jungle-covered island. With mining being a vital part of the local economy, the airline’s ability to support both passenger and freight services is essential. The airline operates a fleet of ATR 72 and DHC-8-100 aircraft, chosen for their versatility and ability to switch between passenger and freight operations, including a split load configuration for flexibility in diverse environments.
