THE PROJECT
This project included Generation Global designing, certifying, and manufacturing replacement crew seat dress covers for the cockpit of the Q400 aircraft. The crew seats are a four-part seat, consisting of a seat pan, lumber, upper backrest, and headrest cover. The seat covers are certified with a TCCA STC. GALLERY
The airline had OEM fabric seat covers fitted to the fleet and was interested in providing sheepskin covers for their pilots. Generation Global was able to prove to the airline that the sheepskin covers actually saved them money as well as increasing their pilot’s level of satisfaction. The faces of the covers are manufactured using New Zealand sheepskin and the side borders are manufactured from a special wool/nylon blend fabric. The headrests are manufactured from matching grey aviation leather.
