The DA-20 aircraft offers two options for seating: leather or sheepskin. For this refurbishment, the replacement seat covers were manufactured from high-quality Oxford grey sheepskin. Sheepskin is the ideal material for high-use seats and is commonly used in commercial airliners' crew seating due to its durability and comfort.
The control stick boots, typically incorporated into leather bucket seats, were supplied separately for the sheepskin seats. These boots were crafted from Ancient Grey leather (ADI-1151), adding both functionality and style to the cockpit.
The floor coverings were provided for the footwell mats only, using the popular Genflor Zimmer (WN-120) carpet. These mats were equipped with self-adhesive velcro, ensuring they stayed securely in place during flight training sessions.
This upgrade enhances the comfort and functionality of the Diamond DA-20, making it an even better choice for flight schools.
