EC120 Helicopter Interior Refurbishment Project
Project Overview
This project involved Generation Global supplying and fitting replacement seat covers, door inserts, armrests, headlining, and a rear bulkhead for an EC120 helicopter. The EC120 features a rear bench seat with three individual Pax seat cushions, and the front of the cabin has two Sicma bucket seats. Interior Features and Design
The seat covers were crafted from Black (ADI-1091) aviation leather, with contrasting Ancient Grey (ADI-1151) inserts. The inserts were designed to be perforated (SP1) for added texture and were quilted in a four-line pattern (SA019), with black stitching. The outer seams were stitched in red stitching, and the Airbus logo was embroidered in red on the two front crew seats.
The inserts were made of matching Black leather (ADI-1091) and finished with the same red (3011) stitching seen in the seat seams. The headlining and rear bulkhead were also wrapped in the same black and grey leather combination, ensuring a cohesive and premium look throughout the cabin.
Client Overview
The client, a Canadian company, provides a broad range of helicopter services, including trading and rebuilding helicopters to customer specifications. They offer both sales and leasing options for their rebuilt helicopters. The company is TCCA approved to provide helicopter maintenance services.
