This project involved the supply of front and rear seat covers for a Diamond DA42 aircraft. The parts were ordered online from Generation Global’s online shop, and the design of the interior kit is an EASA-approved modification, ensuring that the parts can be delivered with an EASA Form 1. Seat Design & Configuration
The seats in the Diamond DA42 are uniquely styled, making them the focal point of the aircraft’s interior. Unlike many other aircraft, the seats are integrated into the cabin, with the seat bottoms becoming part of the overall structure. The seats feature prominent side bolsters and a racing-style front, offering both aesthetic appeal and functional support. The seating shell is built directly into the cabin, and a centre console is incorporated, enhancing the design.The front seats consist of two separate bottoms and backrests, while the rear seats are made up of a left and right seat with a joint bottom. Additionally, the front seats feature integrated controls, with matching red leather control boots.

Leather & Colour Scheme
The standout feature of these seats is the vibrant Red (ADI-3011) leather, which creates a bold and modern look. To complement the bold red, the inserts are crafted from White (ADI-1021) leather, which is perforated (SP-1) for breathability and comfort. The centre insert is quilted with SA005 ‘Double Diamond’ red stitching, adding a sophisticated touch to the seat design.The seats are framed with white piping, outlining the seat edges and inserts, providing a clean and defined look. The headrests are built into the seat backs, and the Diamond logo is embossed at the centre, showcasing the aircraft's brand and attention to detail.
