This project involved supplying new seat upholstery and floor coverings for a Hughes 300B helicopter. The client, based on the east coast of New Zealand, operates the helicopter and also provides helicopter maintenance services.

  • Seating:

    • The seating kit includes composite backing panels, new foam cushions, and leather dress covers for the helicopter’s three-piece bench seat, which features a middle removable dickie seat.

    • The center dickie seat includes only the cover and foam to fit the existing structure.

    • Leather Upholstery: The seat covers are made from black leather (ADI-1091), designed with a simple aesthetic. The outer seams are stitched with double stitching in matching black thread.

    • Logo Embossing: The Hughes Helicopters logo is embossed on the upper backrests of the two outboard seats, adding a touch of branding and elegance.

  • Flooring:

    • The black vinyl flooring used in the helicopter is heavy-duty penny matting, providing durability and ease of maintenance.

    • The edges are finished with black mesh binding for a clean, professional look.

This interior upgrade enhances both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the helicopter, offering a durable, stylish environment that aligns with the client’s professional operations.
