This project involved providing a full seat assembly for an MD 500C helicopter, purchased through Generation Global’s website. The website offers various seating configurations, including standard forward and aft seating, as well as an assembly that excludes the center seat. Additional parts such as flooring, pockets, and panels are also available for purchase.

Seat Assembly Components:
The seat assembly includes essential components such as backing panels, foam cushions, and leather dress covers. The backrest panels are made from composite material and are specially molded to fit the aircraft bulkhead shaping, ensuring a seamless and secure fit. The cushions are crafted from durable Genlite foam, offering a balance of comfort and support. -
Leather Seat Covers:
The seat covers ordered by the client were made from Charcoal Grey leather (ADI-1121), a versatile and sophisticated color that suits the interior aesthetic of the MD 500C. The covers are stitched with Royal Blue thread, adding a subtle yet distinctive contrast. The cover design features center inserts with vertical stitching, which enhances the overall look and offers durability.
This project highlights customized seating solutions that are both functional and aesthetically appealing. The combination of Charcoal Grey leather with Royal Blue stitching provides a refined look, while the use of Genlite foam cushions ensures comfort during flight.
