In this project, Generation Global provided custom rear seats for an MD 500E helicopter, enhancing both the comfort and aesthetic of the aircraft. These Generation II rear seats feature a precise fit with packers designed to position the backrest cushion against the rear bulkhead. The seats were designed for durability and style, offering a high-quality solution for MD 500E seating needs.

Charcoal Grey Leather Seats with Silver Detailing
The rear seats in this MD 500E were upholstered in charcoal grey leather (ADI-1121), providing a sleek, professional look that complements the helicopter's interior. To enhance both comfort and breathability, the seat inserts were perforated with wider-than-usual inserts, allowing for better air circulation during flights.
The stitching on the seats was done in silver thread, providing a subtle contrast against the grey leather and adding a refined touch. Each seat cover was also embroidered with the MD Helicopters logo in silver, ensuring that the seats not only perform well but also feature a custom, branded touch.
Generation II Aft Seat Assembly with Velcro Fasteners
These Generation II rear seats feature a velcro squab system, which allows for easy attachment and adjustment of the seat cushions. This setup ensures a secure fit while maintaining flexibility, making these seats ideal for the MD 500E helicopter's interior configuration.
Unlike the Generation I seats, which utilize a more rigid seat frame, the Generation II seats offer a more adaptable design. The addition of velcro fasteners ensures a tight and secure fit for each seat component, contributing to a streamlined installation process.
