Cessna 172 Seating Refurbishment Project: New Covers and Cushions
Project Overview
For this aircraft interior project, the Generation Global team supplied and fitted new seat covers and cushions for a Cessna 172. The aircraft owner, a dedicated aviation enthusiast, removed the seats from the aircraft and sent them to us for professional seat reupholstery. We meticulously crafted and installed new seat covers that meet modern standards while ensuring a custom fit for this specific Cessna model.

The seats in this Cessna 172 were designed using the most modern seat design (1996+), offering both comfort and durability. The new covers were made from Savannah Caledonian leather (SX007), chosen for its premium quality and sleek appearance. Each seat features circular leather inserts on both the backrest and bottom cushions, with perforated leather using HP1 perforation for a stylish and breathable design.
The stitching on the seats is carefully crafted to blend with the leather, subtly accentuating each seat’s shape. Notably, each circular insert is intersected by a circular stitch line, which creates a striking visual effect, especially in the center of the rear bench seat.
