Piper PA-28-181 Custom Interior Upgrade
Project Overview
This project involved a fully customized interior upgrade for a Piper PA-28-181 aircraft. The tailor-made interior was purchased from the Generation Global website, which allows customers to choose from various leather colors, customization features, such as quilting and logos, to create a unique interior for their aircraft.
Gallery: Detailed Features
Seats:
The seat dress covers were designed with navy blue leather (ADI-2021) as the main color, while the inserts were crafted from perforated titanium grey leather (ADI-1231). The center inserts featured double diamond quilting, creating a stylish and textured finish.
-
Logo Detail: The Piper logo was embossed in the center of the seat back for a personalized touch.
-
Custom Headrest Logo: The client requested an additional Rolling Stones tongue logo embroidered in red, black, and white stitching on the headrest. This custom logo was supplied by the client and adds a personal and distinctive flair.
Sidewalls:
The sidewall panels were made from the same titanium grey leather as the seat inserts. To add visual interest, the sidewalls feature two longitudinal lines of navy piping running the length of the panels.
-
Seatbelt Boots: The red leather seatbelt boots were crafted to cover the floor-mounted seatbelts, adding a cohesive color contrast to the interior.
Floor Coverings:
The ash grey carpet was chosen for the floor coverings, which features the aircraft’s registration number subtly in-laid in red carpet. To protect the carpet, heel mats were added around the pedals, ensuring durability in high-wear areas.
