Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche Seat Refurbishment – Custom Leather Covers & Cushions
Project Summary
This interior refurbishment project was completed for a client based in Nova Scotia, Canada, who was seeking premium leather seat covers and cushions for their Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche. Generation Global supplied and fitted new dress covers and cushions for the two crew seats and two single passenger seats, including custom-fitted headrests. An armrest cover was also designed to match the new upholstery.
The Piper Twin Comanche is a four-seat aircraft, with some later models modified to include two additional seats. This client’s version was the standard four-seat layout.

For this refurbishment, the Generation Global team developed custom seat covers and cushions specifically for the Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche using the client's own passenger seat frame for patterning and fit verification.
The main leather used in the design was Ancient Grey (ADI-1151), giving the seats a classic, refined look. The insert panels featured Navy Blue leather (ADI-2021) with SP-1 perforation, allowing for greater breathability and a sporty appearance.
To maintain aesthetic continuity, Navy Blue stitching was used on the outer seams of the base, backrest, and headrests. The seat cushions were shipped in compressed packaging for efficient delivery and were designed to re-expand to their full shape upon opening.
In addition to the seats, a matching armrest cover was also supplied. Styled in Ancient Grey leather, it was finished with Navy Blue stitching, mirroring the seat design for a cohesive cabin appearance.
