Interior Upgrades for Robinson R22 Helicopter at Flight Training School

Custom Upholstery to Match Client Branding
The entire interior was designed with the client's navy blue branding, maintaining a consistent color scheme throughout. The seat dress covers were made in the Generation II design, featuring pinched center inserts where the leather is gathered for added texture. The seats were covered in Navy Blue (ADI-2021) aviation leather, with matching stitching on all decorative double stitching for a refined look.
Headlining, Bulkhead, and Floor Coverings
The headlining upholstery consisted of five parts, including the rear bulkhead panel, two small winglets above the seats on the sidewalls, and two headlining pieces mounted on the ceiling (one with a cut-out for the window). These parts were crafted from a special sound-deadening foam, wrapped in navy-blue fabric to match the rest of the interior.
The floorcoverings included ‘Blue Shadow’ cut pile carpet to complement the navy leather interior. Crew floor mats featured clear plastic heel mats to protect high-wear areas, ensuring durability. The carpet edges were bound with matching mesh binding, except for the two wall panels where the edges were concealed by the surrounding structure.

Notably, the client is the only approved Bell training center in the United States, and their graduates are highly sought after within the aviation industry due to the high-quality training they receive.
