Robinson R66 – Interior Kit for Maintenance Facility in Australia
THE PROJECT
This project involved Generation Global supplying an interior kit for a Robinson R66 Helicopter to a client in Australia. The kit included new carpets, aftermarket door inserts, a rear bulkhead, and a full headlining assembly. Certification included an EASA Part 21J Certificate (R6601-APF01) and EASA Form 1 release Certificate.
THE GALLERY
The door inserts were covered in premium aviation leather, Black (ADI-1091), and enhanced with decorative contrasting yellow stitching. The carpets were made from Black City (WN-120), finished with matching mesh binding. The headlining and bulkhead assembly were wrapped in Black (HL-104) laminated fabric, providing a sleek and durable finish. All these parts are available on Generation Global’s online shop.
THE CLIENT
The client is a maintenance facility located in the heart of Bankstown Airport, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Their services include field work, routine maintenance, and aircraft fitouts, with capabilities for various aircraft including the Augusta 109 series, Bell 212, BO 105 series, Eurocopter AS 355 series, Eurocopter EC 135, and Eurocopter MBB-BK 117.
