Project Highlight: Robinson R44 Custom Interior Kitset

Colour and Design: A Perfect Balance of Customization and Simplicity
For this Robinson R44 interior, we focused on a sophisticated blue and grey theme. The final result was a stunning yet simple design that perfectly complemented the functional beauty of the R44.
We selected Blue Shadow aviation carpet (WN-120) for the floor coverings, which featured matching blue mesh binding around the edges. The high-traffic areas around the foot controls were equipped with clear plastic heel mats attached using dome fasteners. These mats not only protect the carpet but also ensure smooth foot movement when using the rudder controls.
Headlining and Rear Bulkhead: Noise Absorption and Clean Design
For the headlining and rear bulkhead, we used a Grey fabric (HL-108), which was chosen for its noise-dampening properties. The panels were constructed from foam and covered in a brushed fabric, then securely attached to the fuselage using adhesive. This design contributes to both comfort and noise reduction, improving the overall cabin experience.
Seating: Customised Elegance with a Touch of Class
The seat dress covers were crafted from Royal Blue aviation leather (ADI-2031), which beautifully matched the blue theme of the interior. The diamond quilting (SA001) design on the seat inserts, paired with white stitching, added a touch of sophistication to the seats. To further enhance the appearance, the seat covers featured white leather piping (ADI-1021) along the outside border, creating a clean and polished finish.
For the door panels, we selected a slightly darker Navy Blue leather (ADI-2021) to provide contrast and balance while maintaining the overall cohesive look of the interior.
