Schweizer 269 Helicopter – Custom Interior Kit Supply
THE PROJECT
Generation Global supplied a comprehensive interior kit for a Schweizer 269 Helicopter. We were fortunate to receive photos from the client showcasing the installed interior, as many of our kits are sold globally, and we often don’t get to see the final installation. The kit included new seat covers and cushions, new flooring, and door inserts. All parts are available for purchase on Generation Global’s online shop.
THE GALLERY
The seat covers were crafted from Lead Grey (ADI-1111) aviation leather and accented with silver double stitching on the outer seams. The seat design features a unique arrangement of vertical and horizontal stitch lines that shape the backrest, complemented by 3-part flat insert panels.
Due to the predominantly glass surface of the Schweizer 269, the only significant paneling in the interior is the door inserts. These door inserts are finished to match the sleek, minimalistic aesthetic of the helicopter. Notably, this helicopter doesn't include a headlining, giving it a distinctive, open cockpit feel.
For the flooring, a durable Black vinyl matting covers the floor area, while Zimmer nylon carpet is used on the upstand under the seats. Both the vinyl matting and nylon carpet are bordered with black mesh binding. The vinyl matting is perfect for heavy-duty operators, and we also offer this flooring option with vinyl matting on the upstands.
