Bell 412 Helicopter Crew Seat Refurbishment Project
The Project:
In this project, our team was tasked with refurbishing the crew seating of a Bell 412 helicopter. The aircraft had been imported from a foreign government department, refurbished, and was then on-sold. Generation Global provided high-quality interior seat upholstery to enhance both the aesthetic and comfort of the seats.

Seat Upholstery:
The seat covers were crafted from black leather (ADI-1091), offering a sleek and professional look. To add visual appeal, contrasting red stitching was used on the outside seams, quilting pattern, and embroidery. The quilting on the cover inserts followed the curve design (SA011), providing a modern and textured look that complemented the overall design. -
Comfort Features:
The seat backrests were fitted with adjustable lumbar cushions that could be customized using two pull tabs on either side. This feature allowed the crew members to find the most comfortable seating position, ensuring a better overall experience during flight. -
Branding:
The Bell logo was embroidered in the center of the upper backrest of each seat, maintaining the brand's identity and adding a touch of refinement to the interior. -
Seat Cushions:
In addition to the upholstery, the seat cushions were refurbished with new foam cushioning, improving comfort and extending the life of the seats. This was an important step in ensuring that the seating met both functional and comfort standards.
This refurbishment project significantly upgraded the seating quality in the Bell 412 helicopter, enhancing its visual appeal and comfort for the crew, and ensuring the aircraft was ready for its new owner with a high-end, professional interior.
